Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to: (1) the Nudge website; (2) the Nudge application for Android (including distribution via Google Play and direct APK); and (3) the Nudge application for iOS and iPadOS (including distribution via the Apple App Store).
Website data
When you visit the Nudge website, we collect minimal data. The site is designed to respect your privacy. We may collect: (a) technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information for security and basic analytics; (b) preferences you select (e.g., language, theme) stored via cookies or local storage. If you enable analytics cookies via our consent banner, aggregated usage data may be collected to improve the experience. You can manage cookie preferences at any time.
Nudge for Android
The Nudge Android app requires permissions for messaging, voice, and video, including microphone, camera, notifications, and media storage when you send or receive attachments. You may optionally add a display name, email, or phone number to your profile; those fields are shared only with contacts you choose, using end‑to‑end encryption. Message and call content is end‑to‑end encrypted; we cannot access the contents of your communications. The app stores encryption keys and local message history on your device. We do not sell your data or use it for third‑party advertising or tracking. Push delivery on Android uses FCM. If you download via Google Play, Google’s policies also apply.
Nudge for iOS and iPadOS
The Nudge iOS app requires permissions for core functionality, including microphone and camera (for calls), photo library (when you attach or save media), and network access. You may optionally add a display name, email, or phone number to your profile; those fields are shared only with contacts you choose, using end‑to‑end encryption. Message and call content is end‑to‑end encrypted; we cannot access the contents of your communications. The app stores encryption keys and local message history on your device. We do not sell your data or use it for third‑party advertising or tracking. Our App Store privacy label matches this practice (Contact Info you provide, not linked to your identity for tracking or ads). If you download via the Apple App Store, Apple’s privacy policy and App Store terms also apply.
Security
We implement security measures including end‑to‑end encryption (PQXDH), secure defaults, and minimal third‑party dependencies. We strive to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
